Just a quick Happy!

I was tutoring today, as usual. I was working on the ee sound. The boys were coming up with words like sleep, meet, and sheep. One of the boys was trying really hard to think of one more word so he could tie with the other boy. I say, "What's inside your shoes?" His head lifted up, he looked a me with a huge smile and proudly said, "Rubber!" The other boy got the answer feet, but I was laughing so hard we called it a tie and moved on to the ea sound. Meat, seat, teach....
